ZikrFlow — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ZikrFlow (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application and related services. By using ZikrFlow, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

ZikrFlow is a mobile application for dhikr (remembrance), prayer times, Quran content, and related spiritual habits. The operator responsible for your personal data is the publisher of ZikrFlow. For privacy requests, contact us via Support inside the app or at the contact details you use for app store listings.

2. Data we collect

• Device and app identifiers — e.g. a device or installation identifier used to sync progress, backups, and subscription state.
• Account data (optional) — if you register or sign in (e.g. email), we process the data needed to authenticate you and link devices.
• App usage and content you create — zikr counts, settings, statistics, optional cloud backup payloads you choose to upload, support messages you send.
• Location (optional) — if you enable it, approximate location may be used to calculate prayer times; you can disable location in system settings.
• Diagnostics — basic technical data may be processed by our infrastructure or third-party SDKs for stability and security.
• Payments — card or crypto payments are handled by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers. We may receive limited transaction metadata needed to confirm subscriptions or donations.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use data to provide and improve the service, sync your progress, offer optional cloud features, process subscriptions and donations, respond to support requests, comply with law, and protect users and the service.

4. Third-party services

Depending on configuration, the app may rely on services such as:

• Cloud backend and database (e.g. Firebase / Google Cloud) for accounts, data sync, and configuration;
• Push notifications (e.g. Expo / FCM);
• Payment processors (e.g. Lemon Squeezy, crypto invoice providers) for PRO or donations;
• AI or translation providers when you use optional AI features.

The exact providers depend on your app build and server configuration. Their use is governed by their respective privacy policies.

5. Retention

We keep data as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion where applicable (see section 8).

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. We take steps consistent with applicable law when data crosses borders.

8. Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. EEA, UK), you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Contact us via in-app Support to exercise these rights.

9. Children

ZikrFlow is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. We will post the new version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date.
